Home improvement retailer Lowe’s announced it will give away family-friendly garden project kits for free all month long as a part of a “SpringFest” promotion.
Those interested can register online to reserve kits and then pick them up curbside during a designated timeframe. The next giveaway — a Miracle-Gro Planting Kit — is April 8, although registration has closed. New kits are added every Thursday. Upcoming kits include mystery seed packets, tree saplings and a butterfly quest.
Lowe’s is also offering online and in-store demos on lawn care maintenance and painting.
Families have been seeking out activities to occupy their kids since the coronavirus pandemic began — whether that’s investing in a swimming pool or a new bike — and this spring appears to be no different. Retailers have evidently been taking note.
Lowe’s will also be offering a handful of “SpringFest” deals starting April 8. While you’re waiting, you can shop these deals right now:
- Up to 40% off bath essentials
- Buy one, get one free on select tools
- Patio furniture starting at $20
- Home decor starting at $20
There are currently 40 Lowe’s stores in New Jersey, according to its website.
